3 Tips to Cure Mondayitis

Mondayitis? Never heard of it!

Just kidding, if you are a human being on Planet Earth then my bet is you have probably experienced Mondayitis once or twice in your lifetime (okay maybe a couple more times). 

However, in our opinion here at Beforeyouspeak, Monday is the best day of the week! You want to know why? Because it’s a fresh start!

Didn’t get to the gym as many times as you would have liked last week? Ate too many treats over the weekend? That’s ok! 

It's ok to not always be on top of your game, but don’t let a bad day or unproductive week get in the way of your game plan! One treat, one missed gym session or a few extra episodes on Netflix shouldn’t be the downfall of your hustle!

Mondays are an excellent excuse to hit the refresh button, to put that game plan you created on Sunday into action. 

So here are our top tips for getting back on track:

Mindset

Your mindset affects everything you do, so shift those negative thoughts and push them out the door. Because this year is all about MANIFESTATION and a positive mindset!

Constantly believing that Monday is a drag is going to bring down your whole vibe and drive for the week. Plus not to mention who wants to waste 52 days of each year, when in all honesty they’re here to stay… So instead by setting up your Monday with a strong and positive outlook, is setting yourself up for a productive week! 

Manifest yourself a positive day, positive week, positive month!

You aren’t in control of what happens around you, but you are in control of what happens within you! So don’t let Mondayitis bring you down, use this day as motivation to get back into it!

Write down 3 things you are looking forward to this week, you don’t have to spend hours of your day thinking about this. Just jot down the first 3 things that come to mind, it can take 5 minutes. 

Nourish Your Body!

Had a big weekend? Drank a few too many margaritas, ate a few too many tacos?

Don’t fret, it’s not the end of the world! Get your diet back on track with our handy meal prep blog and nourish your body with a variety of nutrient rich whole foods.

Get Moving!

You don’t have to spend hours in the gym despite popular belief. Even just spending 30 minutes a day moving your body is going to improve your mindset and better your day. 

Getting active, even for a small period of time, helps pump your body full of endorphins, helps clear your mind and sets you up for a healthy and happy day! Whether it be taking your doggo for a walk, stretching your legs during your lunch break or even a home workout.  As the saying goes, you only regret the workouts you didn’t do! 

So don’t let Mondayitis get you down, because they could be some of the best days of your life!
