With a super customisable recipe to suit every lifestyle, it can be made sugar free, dairy free, gluten free and vegan with some easy ingredient swaps ↓
Ingredients
- 1 egg OR 1/4 cup of mashed banana for a vegan option
- 2/3 cup of preferred milk option
- 1 tbsp vanilla protein powder of choice
- 1 sachet of Adrenal Decaf or Performance Caramel coffee
- 2 slices of bread
- Sweetener/sugar of choice and maple syrup to top
- Sweet spread of choice for filling
Method
- Whisk all ingredients except your bread and spread option in a bowl
- Spread your choice of sweet sandwich spread onto one slice of bread, and lay the other piece on top. Cut into 4 squares
- Dip the bread squares into the previously combined mixture and fully coat them
- Fry each bread square in an oil sprayed or non-stick frying pan until golden
- Drizzle with maple syrup and sweetener alternative/sugar
- Enjoy with a cup of your favourite BYS coffee ☕
