Caffeine, superfoods, vitamins, and minerals. BYS coffee is full of them! At Beforeyouspeak, our coffee blends are formulated to provide you with the cleanest approach to functional coffee around.
WHAT ON EARTH IS FUNCTIONAL COFFEE?
Single Origin Colombian Coffee infused with premium superfoods, vitamins and minerals to provide you with a wide range of health benefits. In simple terms, think of really healthy coffee, with loads of extras to help you get sh*t done every day.
WHAT DOES OG MEAN?
OG stands for 'Original Gangster', as it was our very first pioneer blend! Not only did Performance OG launch the Beforeyouspeak brand, but it also pioneered a completely new category of coffee; functional coffee! ☕
SHOULD I HAVE MY BYS COFFEE HOT OR COLD?
You pick! You have the freedom to do whatever your taste buds and heart desires! At Beforeyouspeak we don’t like to over-complicate your coffee-making process, so we created a coffee that dissolves smoothly in both hot or cold water, you can have your coffee YOUR way :)
CAN I DRINK BYS WHILE FASTING?
Our Performance and Thermo Coffee range is popular among our customers for providing an energy boost during intermittent fasting. Both of these blends are exceptionally low in calories, and include our Premium Arabica Coffee, combined with vitamins, minerals, and superfoods. If you choose to avoid sweeteners during your fast, we also offer an Unsweetened flavour across all of our core blends.
HOW MUCH CAFFEINE IS IN EACH SACHET?
Our sachets contain 115mg of caffeine, with the exception of our Thermo Extra Shot which packs a punch at 150mg. Remember the recommended daily consumption of caffeine is no more than 400mg for a healthy adult, so make sure you caffeinate responsibly! 😉
WHY IS BYS IN INDIVIDUAL SACHETS?
The nature of our active ingredients requires minimal air and moisture exposure, so individual packaging is the optimal approach to keep our blends fresh. The individual serves ensure we can maintain the highest quality across production standards, shelf life, and serving size/ingredient dosage for each of our Beforeyouspeak product formulations.
IS BYS VEGAN FRIENDLY?
The majority of our blends are vegan friendly, with the exception of our Collagen range as this contains Marine Collagen.
IS BYS FODMAP FRIENDLY?
Yes! FODMAPs are a group of carbohydrates found within certain foods and drinks that can trigger bloating, stomach cramps, constipation, diarrhoea, and gas. The general guideline for a low FODMAP diet is a consumption limit of two shots of coffee in your daily intake, so it’s safe to drink one BYS coffee sachet a day.
IS BYS PREGNANCY/BREASTFEEDING SAFE?
Our coffee varieties contain caffeine and added active ingredients, vitamins, and minerals so if you're pregnant or breastfeeding, we ALWAYS recommend checking with your healthcare professional before adding new supplements into your diet. We also recommend reviewing the ingredients list and information available on our website for any products you’re considering to determine if the products are suitable for you personally. It’s important to be safe, and whilst we’ve formulated our BYS blends for optimum standards of health and wellbeing, it’s important to ensure that you do right by your body and your bub during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
